The Admin Awards has the tradition of creating a fun Video Tribute to Finalists, which will open up the 2021 Admin Awards in. But shhh – it’s a secret….so don’t spill the beans to your Finalist!
You will want to have participated in this come the big day – it opens up the Admin Awards LIVE! Good as Gold Awards Gala and is a huge crowd pleaser!
This year’s Finalist video tribute song is “They Don’t Make Like Me” by Pidgeon John, because, well, there they just don’t make ‘em like your Admin, that’s for sure, and we are all here to make sure they know it! The nominated Administrative Professional’s supervisors, coworkers, clients and vendors are invited to participate in this year’s video tribute, and have some fun lip-syncing and dancing!
But remember, this is a SURPRISE for your Finalist, so mum’s the word. Video submissions (taken on smartphones, tablets, or video cameras) will be compiled and the final video will open up the 2021Admin Awards LIVE! webcast. Please note that the final cut, and the length of each submission included, is at the discretion of our in-house video producer.

Instructions for Filming and Submitting Your Admin Awards Music Video Footage:
- Please record the chorus and any verses of the song to dance to, lip-sync, or act out with your colleagues (while maintaining a safe distance). Also, make sure the CEO is included! Hold the phone HORIZONTALLY!
- Be sure to include something in your video that lets the audience know which organization you’re from and/or who you’re supporting i.e. wear company T-shirts, hold up signs, include photos of the finalist you’re supporting, etc.
- Whether you’re doing this from the comfort of your home, or office – or wherever, get creative and make it FUN!
- Record your video using an iPhone, tablet, smartphone, or video camera in the highest resolution possible. *If you choose to use an iPhone, tablet, or smartphone, please be sure to turn the device horizontally so it’s fixed horizontally NOT vertically, or we cannot use the footage.
- Please hold your video recording device as steady as possible, and try to place each singer/dancer, or group, in the center of the frame.
- Feel free to play the song while you record and belt out the lyrics. The better matched you are to the song, the better the lip-sync will look! Don’t worry, we’ll be removing the sound from your footage.
- Please record from various sections of the song, as opposed to starting from the beginning.
- Our producer adds a blooper reel at the end so please include unedited footage

- Once you’ve recorded your video and are happy with it, please use WeTransfer to email it to us. Details on WeTransfer are as follows:
