Colleen Barrett Award Past Winners

2016

In all my years of being an Administrative Professional, I have held winning the Colleen Barrett Award for Administrative Excellence as the highest and most prestigious honor I could receive.

The passion I have for this profession and sharing that passion with other administrative professionals has been the driving force that made me who I am today.  With the encouragement and empowerment from my principal who I support, my Cisco family, and my administrative peers in Silicon Valley I have gained the confidence and courage to boldly reach beyond all I imagined possible for myself.  Thank you to Sunny, Colleen, and the Admin Awards of Silicon Valley for bringing this profession and what it stands for to a new level. This has been an amazing experience that I will never forget and one I believe will drive the next fantastic chapter of my life!

Winning the first CB award was more than I could have ever imagined. I have been in an administrative role my entire career – so being recognized so publicly for doing something that not only am I very good at but that I actually love doing is beyond words. This award is proudly displayed front and center in my office and serves as a daily reminder that hard work and effort does pay off!
